Whenever we go to the beach, I’m always a teensy bit tempted by the outlets across the street. Not a TON of tempted though, because most of the stores aren’t really ones that I like… but the J.Crew outlet tends to whisper to me to stop by and just take a little look before we go home.
I don’t really have any huge needs on clothes right now, so I went in just to do a quick loop around the store to see if there were any super awesome deals on items that I just can’t live without. And, as you would know it, I found three.
J.Crew Bargain Item #1: Chambray Shirt
Full-price: $68
Outlet price with sales: $28

I’ve wanted a cute button-up chambray shirt for a long time now, but I can never find one that fit me well. They are either too tight across the bust, or baggy all over the place. I grabbed this one in a size extra large to try (I’m typically a large) and it is exactly the shirt that I’ve been wanting. It’s a little roomy, but still fitted – if that even makes sense – and the button tab sleeves are totally my jam. When I picked it up at the Factory Store, it was marked down to $34 and then an extra 15% off with my email address.
My immediate thought was to pair the chambray top with some of my fun skirts, so I threw on three different skirts from my closet to show you how it really does go with everything! I also did the “look, my skirt has pockets!” pose for each picture, because that’s how I roll. Now that I’m looking at it again, I’m thinking the middle look would do better if I added a belt.
J.Crew Bargain item #2: Tassel Charm Necklace
Full-price: $36.50
Outlet price with sales: $15.51

This is pretty much the reason I stop by the J.Crew outlet when I’m in town… they always have such pretty jewelry for a steal! Jack actually spotted this necklace first and told me that I had to try it on because it was so beautiful, and he’s right. I think that this will be a great addition to a simple summer tank top or a more professional work dress and at $15 it was totally coming home with me.
J.Crew Bargain Item #3: Caryn Cardigan
Full-price: $54.50
Outlet price with sales: $21.21

J.Crew cardigans are my favorite because they last through wear after wear without looking like crap. It looks like the Caryn is their ‘factory version’ of their classic “Jackie” cardigan sweater. If you are in the market for a cardigan or two, don’t ever pay full price for them. They ALWAYS have sales, especially on the factory website. At the sale price of $21, I’m basically paying a Target price for J.Crew quality.
I love the vibrant green color and I think it will be a great addition to my wardrobe. I threw it on with this pretty floral dress for a summer look, but I think it will be pulled out of my office year-round for the office.

You got such great stuff at such awesome prices! The cardigan is my favorite. That color looks amazing on you!
I love that you paired the denim top with a skirt. I am always looking for new ways to match my denim shirts (because I have like five now) and I dont know why I never thought of a skirt! So smart 🙂
I am TOTALLY scoping out a J Crew outlet near the new city we are moving to. I MUST have that store in my life!! Such cute pieces.
I have a chambray shirt but that is such a good deal!! It looks like a better shade even. Hmmm….thanks for the heads up! 🙂
I’m loving those chambray looks!
