I’ve been having a wonderful time working with Breyers on their Delicious Moment’s campaign and I can’t believe that it’s already coming to an end in a few more weeks!
So before we bid adieu – to you and you and you… or actually just to the fantastic Breyers prizes – let’s have one more GIVEAWAY!
That’s right, Breyers is giving one of you a $25 gift card to Target so you can buy whatever your heart desires. Whether it be ice cream, a pretty new purse, a pack of tighty-whities or even a jumbo pack of toilet paper.
How to enter my awesome contest:
Leave a comment below and tell me your favorite Fall food or drink treat (and no, it doesn’t have to include ice cream). Have you been gobbling up everything pumpkin spice that you see or maybe you’re a build-a-bonfire-outside-and-have-some-s’mores kinda guy or gal?
The prizes:*
- Grand Prize (1 awarded): $25 Target gift card and a coupon for free Breyers ice cream
- Runner Up Prizes (3 awarded): a coupon for free Breyers ice cream
I’ll accept entries from now until noon on Thursday, October 3, 2013!
This post was created in connection with my appointment as an Ambassador in the Breyers Blogger Program. Visit www.facebook.com/breyers to join the conversation.
*All prizes have been provided by Breyers. They will send the $25 Target gift card directly to the grand prize winner. I will mail the coupons (also provided by Breyers) to all four winners.
10/3/13 Update: Winners have been chosen by a random number generator! Grand Prize Winner of $25 Target gift card and coupon for free Breyers ice cream: Lauren, who has an amazingly delicious recipe for homemade pumpkin poptarts! The three Runner Up winners (who win a coupon for free Breyers ice cream): Jessie (hot rum cider sounds delicious to me… bring some over!), Ashley Z (I’m with you and would devour anything salted caramel too), and Betsy Why (cranberry/orange spiced cider sounds yummy!). I will be emailing the winners directly to let them know that they won. Thank you everyone for playing!

I really love pumpkin flavored ice cream. We have a local pumpkin festival and they do a sundae with pumpkin ice cream and caramel sauce- it’s a little piece of heaven.
And PS- I know have “So Long, Farewell” stuck in my head. So THANKS A LOT, Joules!
MOOOHAHAHA!
{that’s my evil laugh…}
Mellocreme pumpkins!!! Omnomnom!,
YAY CONTESTS!!!! My favorite fall food is definitely Thanksgiving Dinner. Give me stuffing, give me turkey, give me green bean casserole and cranberry sauce. Give me pumpkin pie, then give me some Pepto!
Favorite fall drink? Hmmm, I do enjoy the pumpkin spiced latte but I also LOVE a good hot apple cider. Original, I know.
There is possibly no end to my addiction to Pumpkin Spice. I will be having my coffee with PS creamer from here to the new year. And my I’m-fighting-it-daily-due-to-cost-and-calories addiction is PS Frappuccino with salted caramel ribbon at Starbucks. OMG.
Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!
My favorite fall items are Apple Cider with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Are you a cheesecake person? If so, I highly recommend the s’mores cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory. It is a special one right now so I’m not sure if they’ll be adding it to the regular menu or not. They make their own marshmallow fluff to top it with. Need I say more?
YUM! I might have to plan a Cheesecake Factory trip in the near future… =)
Pumpkin pie is my favorite fall treat! Or pumpkin donuts! Mmmm
Pumpkin cookies with mini chocolate chips! Sooo good!
Hot Apple Cider.Yumm!!!
Starbucks’ Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate! Sooo good!
My favorite is homemade pumpkin “pop tarts”. These are not like your average boxed pop tart. I take homemade pie curst or you can buy premade pie crust. Roll it out and I mix pumpin pie puree with the deliciious spices that go into pumpkin pie. Then I take a cookie cutter that is pumpkin shapped and spoon the filling on the pumpkin shapped pie cuts and seal two of them together and bake them in the over and viola you have homemade and healthy pumpkin “pop tarts” that are delicious and super easy to make. Kids will also go wild for these!
Every October, I go to an historic folklife festival (hand crafts, all foods cooked over an open fire, etc.) and one of the ladies’ groups makes a cranberry/orange spiced cider that is heavenly. I’ve tried to recreate it at home with no luck, so I love that one day that I can get a big cup of it to enjoy while walking around browsing all the displays
I’ve been enjoying a cocktail of caramel vodka with Apple cider, warm in my favorite Ron Swanson mug, or chilled in a martini glass with a caramel, cinnamon-sugar rim. TO DIE FOR!!
I love to pick apples at our local orchard & turn them in to treats! Apple turnovers anyone???
My favorite fall drink is the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte!
Anytime I see something pumpkin spice, yes I will get it! I LOVE fall!
I do like bonfires, but now I have twins..so I wont get to do that for a while. They are too little to take around a bonfire!
I like the KCup coffees (my favorite is the Donut Shop) , in the fall, sitting by a warm fire with my wife!
I like to make my own apple butter and eat it on fresh bread or in home made crepes. YUM!
carmel apple cider from starbucks!
Egg nog! I wait with baited breath every fall for egg nog to hit the stores.
I love it plain, in coffee, with chocolate, as scones . . . anywhichway. Yum! Twelve more days until my favorite coffee shop stocks it!
Hot Chocolate….but I really have to wait until “winter” in Florida to fully appreciate it.
My favorite fall treat are Pumpkin Rocks, they are pumpkin and raisin cookies with a cream cheese frosting. So good.
I adore apple cider donuts from the local orchard! I don’t actually do anything at the orchard but shop their little store and fill my cart up with all their delicious treats. I often wonder if they are so delicious because I can only get them for a couple months a year (kind of like Girl Scout cookies). Regardles…yum!
