I don’t know if it’s the wishy-washy weather, or the fact that the holidays have passed… but I’ve been finding myself less satisfied with my wardrobe. In fact, I had a bit of a purge in the middle of the month, grabbed items off hangers, listed them and ended selling over a dozen items. It’s good though, because I feel like I’m getting much closer to narrowing down what I want my style to look like. For now, at least.
February was a bit of a mixed bag:
Lots of black and blue this month. Also lots of skirts, which is pretty typical for me. My love of linen hit hard this month (I’ve posted a couple times about this lately), but I think you’ll start seeing some of these pieces creeping into each month’s outfits — especially the bottom three (black dress, blue skirt, black skirt) from notPERFECT LINEN.
At this point, I’m pretty much over winter. But also, I’d be kind of okay with a snow day. Of course, we still have March to get through — which in Maryland could be anything between 20 – 65 degrees. So, let’s cross our fingers for one nice snowstorm and then on to Spring!
Someone on the news said his wife calls the second part of winter, second winter. Because the first few months can have no snow, be very livable. Then, from mid february on, can be too snowy, or sleety, or rainy. I have to agree. I think we all get in a funk around now. You look great in your pics. So comfortable, too! That’s what I go for, comfort. Have a happy week.
