With this pandemic dragging on and on, I’m becoming much more open to those dang Facebook ads trying to sell me stuff I don’t need. Well, they got me. I saw a t-shirt in an advertisement and in a moment of weakness I placed my order.
And I’m so glad I did, because this is the most perfect t-shirt for the coronavirus pandemic in THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD:
It says “What a time to be alive and anxious” and it is like all my feelings are wrapped up in a super soft, oversized t-shirt for all the world to see. I mean, it’s not only perfect now to pair with all my leggings and joggers while staying at my house. But it is kind of fabulous pairing with jeans and a face mask for that I-need-to-go-to-the-grocery-store-please-stay-6-feet-away-from-me lewk.
Sigh. Too soon?
Anyways, I kind of love this t-shirt and I don’t regret my late night, half asleep purchase at all. However, I do wish I hadn’t sized up. I’m so used to these online stores sizing their t-shirts for teenagers that I picked an XL for this top and I would have been totally fine in a large or even a medium. Maybe it will shrink a little. Or maybe it’s the perfect size for my current pandemic diet.
Any which way, the shirt is from Boredwalk Los Angeles and here is a link to my exact top.
Have you bought anything cool during quarantine?
