A Quick Closet Tip & End of Summer Deals

So first, a quick tip that I just did myself a couple days ago… go in your closet and grab out anything that screams SUMMER to you. Put that in the front of your closet where it is the most accessible.

Boom. That’s it.

Every year autumn sneaks up on  me and I regret not getting a last wear out of some of my favorite summer clothes, so by putting them right in the front where I see them will be really helpful for me. And hopefully you too!

With that in mind, even though it is mid-August I feel like we are due to start smelling the first hint of pumpkin spice any day now. Back to school shopping is already happening and many stores have switched their displays to their fall offerings.

So it’s a great time to snap up some summer deals!

To help you out, I put together a list of some of my favorite heavy-rotation summer items and links to where they are on sale:

Clarks Ledella Trail sandal’s in Grenadine. These beauties were originally $120 and I found them on sale at Nordstrom for $66.67. I’ve worn mine a ton this summer and they are still super comfortable and look perfect.

The UGG Maysie sandal. I have these in both black and tan and they are so incredibly comfortable! These were $99.95 and are currently marked down to $66.98.

Pretty Runched Wrap Dress from Boden. You know how I feel about Boden’s jersey dresses. I recently grabbed this one up in solid black when it went on clearance and I already know that it will get a ton of wear the rest of this summer, early fall and then again in the spring. Original price was $78.50 and it’s on sale for $47.10. I’ve already worn it to work (dressed up with a cardigan, dainty necklace and strappy wedges) and for a hot, humid weekend day (with just sandals and sunnies):

J.Crew Outlet Chambray button-up top. I bought this on super sale at an outlet this year, but you can get almost as good as a deal online. The original price is $68 and it is on sale for $40.50. This will be one of those great transition items for summer to fall too!

Kate Spade “Hawthorne Lane – Small Ryan” coated canvas tote. I got mine when I visited Trunk Club in person (you can see the full post here) and love the size and classic style. They have a couple different color options and they are on sale for $105.86 (original price $158) with free shipping.
