I actually received this hair oil in my Spring 2016 FabFitFun box, but I only started using it within the last month or so. Now I’m totally kicking myself, because this stuff is the bees knees! I’ve been using it every day – I shower, towel dry my hair, comb through it and then squeeze a pump and a half of this oil into my hand. I rub my hands together and then smooth it through my hair everywhere but the scalp, with extra attention on my ends. If it’s a no-blowdry day, I just let my hair air dry from there and it is so silky soft! I love this stuff and even after using it every day for over a month the bottle still looks full.

The Santa Clarita Diet
I needed a new show to watch while I’m on the elliptical and finally decided to dive into this one. This one is a Netflix Original and only available to be streamed through Netflix. If you love Drew Barrymore (who doesn’t?) and dark comedy, you are going to be obsessed with this show. I just started it last week and I’m already on episode 7. It is kind of gross, so I wouldn’t be able to watch it while eating (even though I’m fine watching Bones or CSI… which is weird), but for helping make the elliptical minutes fly by, it’s perfect. Let’s cross our fingers that it gets renewed for season two!

I just HAVE to share this one with you guys, because I picked up a two-pack of leggings at Costco in the fall for $15 and they are some of my favorites to wear under skirts in the winter. They are super thin and incredibly soft. I’ve washed them a bunch of times (I let them lay flat to dry) and they are still in perfect condition. If you need a pair of super lightweight leggings, you should totally check these out!

Loving Right Now

The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman
I keep seeing posts and promos for the Magicians television show, so I finally decided to pick up the books that the show is based on. They have been described as being a ‘grown up Harry Potter’ so obviously I had to dive in!

I really loved this series and pretty much read them from start to finish over a long weekend. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the main character in the first book, he really grew on me and I was totally into the world that was created. There were some weird bits, but all in all, I loved it.

Philosophy Body Soufflé
Right before Christmas, I picked up a few Philosophy gift sets from Nordstrom Rack. One of them included the Pink Almond Candy Glazed Body Soufflé and I fell in love with it. The cream goes on silky, without being greasy, and it leaves behind a subtle sweet scent. I went through that entire jar and now I’ve moved on to the Shimmering Snowlace scent. SO, SO, GOOD! I found a few of the gift sets on Amazon.com, but I bet they will also turn out at your local TJ Maxx or Marshalls stores too.

ORG Skincare Mineral Peel for Face
I received this product in the Winter FabFitFun box and it has quickly become one of my favorites. You spray it directly onto your face, wait 3-5 seconds, and then use your fingers to rub in circular motions. You can actually feel and see the dead skin balling up as you rub. It leaves my complexion feeling soft and super clear. I use this every couple days before I jump in the shower and can definitely tell that it has brightened and evened the tone of my skin. I don’t know how I missed this movie when it came out in 2014, but we saw a promo for the sequel and immediately added the first one to our DVD.com queue. Once it arrived, we watched it TWICE over the same weekend. I loved it. Travis loved it. Jack loved it so much that he requests to wake up to the “oooga chacca” song every morning. We can’t wait for the second one to come out in May!

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Series
I’m not really sure what took me so long when it comes to finally reading Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I mean, it has magic, whimsy, kids with powers, good guys, bad guys… all my favorite stuff.

I finally bought the book right before I hopped on the train home from New York earlier this month and I devoured it. I actually didn’t realize that the book is the first in the series, so as soon as I finished the first one I ordered the last two on Amazon.com. These would make a great gift for the booklover in your family or even for yourself!

NAP Snuggle Blanket
A few years ago my husband wandered into Brookstone at Christmastime and spent WAY too much money on a snuggle blanket. He gave it to me for Christmas, because I like to wrap myself into a burrito on the couch and watch TV and we have been fighting over it ever since. Just kidding, I get the nice one and he gets the one that isn’t as nice… Anyways, the NAP blanket from Brookstone is worth every single penny and I’ve been using it nonstop for the last few years. They have a ton of different versions to choose from (and they seem to have gone down in price too!) and I’m thinking of buying my husband one for Christmas this year so he can be just as comfy as I am each night. Crazy Ex Girlfriend
If you follow me on Facebook you already know about my obsession with Crazy Ex Girlfriend. The show is in its second season and literally makes me laugh so hard I cry. Sometimes it even makes me laugh so hard I choke on my own spit and fall off the couch (while burrito-ed in my snuggle blanket, obviously). Totally worth it though. You can find the first season on Netflix and the second season is currently streaming for free on the CW app. I run the app through my Roku, which is pretty easy and awesome.

This one is a little naughty… We Tapped that Ass is a tap dance number where Rebecca is realizing that she sees her ex boyfriends (and what they did) everywhere in her apartment.
